Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars had opposite days on the hardwood on Tuesday. The Saints were beaten pretty handily by Grandview Park Baptist; the girls lost 53 – 26 and the boys fell 72 – 28. Twin Cedars picked up two victories over Seymour; the Sabers’ gals won 43 – 33 and the boys demolished the Warriors, 64 – 21. Coach Alan Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was happy with the team’s defense last night. Otis Roby and Hunter Embray unofficially each came up with 14 points. Melcher-Dallas’ girls are now 2 – 3, the boys are 2 – 2; Twin Cedars’ girls improve to 2 – 1 and the boys are now 2 – 2. The Saints play host to Southeast Warren on Thursday and the Sabers are at Moulton-Udell this Friday.
