Trying to shake off a horrible night of shooting on Tuesday, the Melcher-Dallas basketball clubs take to the home court tonight for a doubleheader with Southeast Warren. Neither team eclipsed the 30-point mark in their losses to Grandview Park Baptist the other night to drop the girls to 2 – 3 and the boys to 2 – 2. The Saints’ girls will be playing a one-win Warhawks squad who has battled tough with Murray, I-35 and Martensdale – St. Mary’s for a 1 – 3 record. The boys’ game may get ugly early; the Warhawks have scored just 48 points through three games, including a nine-point effort in their opener with Mormon Trail. Tonight’s girls’ game tips off at 6:00 p.m.
