The 2013-14 Central wrestling team is dotted with several talented younger grapplers who are eager to go out and compete against anyone willing to face them. Freshman Ryan Vandall at 157 pounds has the third most wins on the team this year with 11, freshman Dustin Thibeault placed second in the Brute Auggie Open with many other younger wrestlers gaining experience by being under the wings of several talented Dutch juniors and seniors. Coach Eric Van Kley says that the upperclassmen’s dedication is helping to fuel the fire and hunger the younger athletes possess. The Dutch wrestlers are out buying sunscreen and dusting off their shorts for their trip to Fort Myers, Florida this weekend to participate in the Gulf Coast Duals.
