There are things for kids to do while they are out of school for Christmas vacation. The Knoxville Recreation Center is having open swim for anyone wanting to get out and get wet over the holiday break – they will be open from 1 to 3 on Christmas Eve, and then from 1 to 4 on December 26, 27 and 30; and on the 31st from 1-3. The Rec Center will hold their regular hours the weekend of the 28th and 29th. The Knoxville Public Library is also hosting events. This Friday the 27th, there will be a chess and game day at 1:30. The Library will be closed on Christmas Eve and on Christmas day, and will close at 3 on New Years’ Eve.
