They played one-another for the first time in a while last season, and tonight, both Pleasantville and Melcher-Dallas will get at it again on the basketball courts. The Saints’ girls had to come back from an early hole to defeat the Trojans on a late three last year, and this evening’s game may be just as close; both squads are 0 – 1 so far, and they each have very similar rosters. Over on the boys’ side, the Trojans dominated last year’s contest, and bring back several key players from a 15 – 8 campaign in 2012-13. Pleasantville Coach Tom Wilkins says early on he’s more concerned with his team rather than their opponents.Saints’ Coach, Jim Wells says they’re going to have to take advantage of their offensive opportunities and limit Pleasantville’s. You can hear tonight’s game live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Ed Bull on the call. Pregame starts at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off of the girls’ game at 6:15.
