Trojans Split With Central-Decatur

The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team was defeated by Central-Decatur last night, 72 – 43. Trisha Kunze and Kennedy Core combined for 40 of the team’s 43 points; Kunze had 21 and Core had 19. The Trojans’ girls are now 1 – 3. Pleasantville’s boys triumphed, 68 – 42. Patrick Sheehey got the crowd on their feet with a slam dunk in the second half. He finished with 18 points, Dylan Lauer threw in 14 and Josh Luna had ten. Pleasantville’s boys are now 2 – 1, and they’ll join the girls with a road trip to Wayne on Tuesday.
