Better offense and better defense have both been the focus for the Pella Christian girls’ basketball team as they get ready to resume regular season play this Tuesday. Coach Kevin Van Maanen says that defensively, his girls need to do a better job of getting back in transition, protecting the paint, and boxing out and not allowing as many offensive rebounds as they have so far. Offensively, Van Maanen says they need to work the ball around better and find the open person. The Eagles are 4 – 5 heading into this Tuesday’s contest with the Lady Dutch of Pella.
