Continuing their return trip through the Little Hawkeye Conference, the Pella High basketball teams have a big week ahead of them, and it starts tonight with a trip to Dallas Center-Grimes. The Dutch were swept in their first meet-up this season but the games were relatively close and both were not decided until the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. Tonight is also a big night for both of the boys’ teams; it’s game number 15, the final contest that determines the teams’ rankings for the postseason in February. The Little Dutch have already locked up a number one seed in their district, and Coach Mark Core says the team is more focused on the Mustangs than the playoffs in a few weeks. Tonight’s game will be streamed live on KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema on the call. Pregame starts at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:15. There will also be a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS immediately following our coverage of Pella Christian basketball.
