Splitting two close games with A-D-M on Tuesday, the Pella High basketball teams hope things go a little smoother tonight with a visit from Oskaloosa. The Indians were destroyed by the Dutch in their first meet-up in Mahaska County in early December. The girls won 61 – 19 over the struggling Oskaloosa girls, who have yet to reach 40 points in a game this season. The Lady Dutch are coming off of their first loss of 2014 this past Tuesday against A-D-M, and Coach Jerod Garland says he hopes his girls are a little more swift than they were against the Tigers. The Little Dutch survived a close affair with A-D-M, and are facing an Indians squad they beat 85 – 51 earlier this year. Pella is expected to once again be without junior Isaac Naaktgeboren. You can hear tonight’s game live on KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:15. We’ll have a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS immediately following Pella Christian basketball.
