Funeral services for Janice Henning, age 74 of Oskaloosa, will be held on Saturday, January 4 at 4:00 p.m. at the Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa with Reverend John Clausen officiating. Following the service, her body will be cremated, and burial of the cremated remains will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Newton at a later date. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3 at the Bates Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the MHP Hospice Serenity House. Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
