It came down to the final game of their conference schedules last year to determine the Little Hawkeye Conference champions, and tonight, both Pella Christian and Grinnell face-off for the first time this season to conclude their first trips through the conference. The Tigers are fresh off a pair of highly competitive games with Dallas Center-Grimes on Tuesday, one that saw the girls fall by just three, but the Grinnell boys win by that same margin. The Tigers’ girls have taken over 100 shots more from three-point range than the Eagles, and Coach Kevin Van Maanen says that his girls will need to do a better job of getting those longer rebounds than they did against Knoxville on Tuesday. You can hear tonight’s game live on KNIAKRLS.com with Justin Webster and Wynne Veenstra on the call. Pregame starts at 5:45 p.m. with tip-off at six. There will be a delayed broadcast of the twinbill on 92.1 KRLS immediately following Pella High basketball.
