After back-to-back postponed games, Pleasantville will once again try and lace up the sneakers and play some basketball this evening at home against Nodaway Valley. This past Tuesday’s postponement of the Central Decatur game may be a blessing in disguise for the Trojans, as the Wolverines bring two talented squads to the court. The boys are undefeated and are coming off of a 94 – 37 beat down of East Union on Tuesday. However, the Trojans introduce senior center Chad Robbins into their line-up for the first time this season, which could make things very interesting for both Pride of Iowa teams. On the girls’ side, Pleasantville is just starting a stretch of games where they’ll be playing eight of their next ten contests at home. The Trojans are 1 – 6 while the Wolverines enter with a 5 – 3 mark. Tonight’s varsity girls’ game will tip-off at 6:15 p.m.
