Facing a pair of teams with sub-.500 records, the Pella High boys’ and girls’ basketball teams have a great opportunity to win their sixth straight contest each with a doubleheader at A-D-M tonight. The Tigers’ girls are currently on a six-game slide. However, don’t let their record deceive you. They had Dallas Center-Grimes down in the fourth quarter but couldn’t quite pull off the upset. The 3 – 9 A-D-M boys do have some height, but their defense has struggled, giving up 65 points per game. Coach Mark Core, fresh off a defeat of PCM on Saturday, hopes his team takes better care of the ball tonight. The Little Dutch had several turnovers against Newton in their 74 – 49 win against them on Friday night. You can hear tonight’s game live on 92.1 KRLS and KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser on the play-by-play. Pregame starts at 6:00 p.m.
