As previously reported by KNIA/KRLS News, the Pella and Knoxville Police Departments have spent the last two weeks investigating the thefts of several items, which were later sold as scrap metal. Last week, Joel Allen Followill, formerly of Knoxville was charged with Burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony, two counts of Theft 2nd degree, also class D felonies, and Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a class B felony. Lt. Paul Haase of the Pella Police Department tells KNIA/KRLS News that over the weekend, a second individual, Jonathon Gullion of Pella, was charged in association with these crimes. Gullion has been charged with Burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony, two counts of Theft 2nd degree, also class D felonies, and Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a class B felony. Lt. Haase adds that the case is still under investigation with the assistance of both the Knoxville Police Department, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
