After a two-and-a-half week break from games, the Knoxville Basketball Squads get back to play tonight diving head first into a batch of Little Hawkeye Conference games that both girls and boys teams call “the meat and potatoes” portion of their schedule. In the next ten days, Knoxville will travel to Norwalk, host Pella, Pella Christian, and Dallas Center-Grimes. Girls Coach Jim Utiermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports says the schedule upgrades itself, but he is still hanging the goal of a conference championship firmly in the girls’ crosshairs. The boys are playing a Norwalk club that is 0-3 in the conference, however two of the Warriors losses have been to Grinnell and Dallas Center-Grimes.
