Turning in another impressive performance in a losing effort on Saturday, Kenzie Vander Molen of the Central women’s basketball team has been leading the charge for the Dutch through 15 games. The junior is averaging 23 points per game in four conference contests so far this season. However, after her, the numbers drop off drastically. The next highest scorer after Vander Molen is Rachel Evans, who is throwing in just under ten points per game. Coach Chelsea Petersen says if her team wants to be more competitive the rest of the season, they need other players to step up. Central is next in action tomorrow night against Simpson.
