Recently, Congressman Dave Loebsack toured Knoxville Hospital and Clinics, to learn about the upcoming expansion and renovation. Loebsack says he feels the upgrades are justified, and critical access hospitals are important to rural iowa, and he wants to do what he can to support them. He says he is pushing to prevent Medicare reimbursement rates from being cut for critical access hospitals. He says there are a number of other regulations that are gaining bipartisan support to keep these hospitals from being negatively affected.
