The object of every game is to play your hardest and to win. For Pella Christian’s girls’ basketball team, this late in the regular season, at least, they are just looking at improvement between now and the regional tournament. Coach Kevin Van Maanen says that wins are nice, but right now, they are more fixated on trying to better themselves so they are ready to go when the postseason starts. The Eagles have a prime opportunity to get some major momentum between now and this Saturday when they play their first round game. Pella Christian goes up against Knoxville and Grinnell to close out their regular season schedule this week before hosting Colfax-Mingo next weekend.
