After winning their first playoff game in four seasons on Monday, the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will go for a district title tonight against Chariton in Albia. The Panthers have played the Chargers twice this season, losing both times. However, the last time the Panthers played Chariton it was just an eight point win by the Chargers. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS his team played right with the Chargers for seven of their eight total quarters this season, and thinks his team is ready for the challenge. Knoxville was able to break Centerville’s press in Monday’s first round game which the Panthers won 82-74. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA starting with the pre-game show at 6:45.
