The Knoxville Wrestling Squad swept through the Pleasantville Quad with little issues last night going three-and-oh in dominating fashion. The Panthers closest dual was against Carlisle in which they won 52-24. Knoxville did not allow Pleasantville nor Martensdale St. Mary’s double digits in the final match ups of the night beating the Trojans 56-9 and scoring the maximum number of points against the Blue Devils 78-0. Coach Ron Peterson told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team has been wrestling well the last couple of weeks after some midseason struggles. Pleasantville went 1-2 with the Trojans only win over Martensdale St. Mary’s 71-0, and falling to Carlisle 58-16. Knoxville will now prepare for the Sectional this Saturday in Albia while Pleasantville will participate in the Eddyville Sectional.
