Knoxville Man Scheduled For Trial In 2013 Arson Case Is Incarcerated In Missouri

In March 2013, Nicholas Wade Carter, now age 19, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree arson in connection with a fire at 110 East Robinson in Knoxville. Carter later pled not guilty, and was released on $10,000 bond. Carter was scheduled to go to trial in Marion County on March 5. Officials with the Missouri Department of Corrections say that Carter is currently incarcerated in Missouri, on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, and is being held at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center, in Fulton, Missouri since December 2, 2013. His sentence there is two years.
