The Knoxville Wrestling Squad will try to qualify for the state duals for the first time since 1998 tonight. But to do thatn the Panthers must get by two of the top teams in class 2A. Knoxville will take on number three ranked Albia while 14th ranked Grinnell battles Central Decatur. Knoxville qualified for the team regionals by virtue of its runner-up finish at the Sectionals on Saturday. Knoxville Coach Ron Peterson thinks his team will be focused, and hopes they can get a few wins over wrestlers who did not advance out of the sectional, knowing their season is over after tonight. Bouts begin at six at Albia High School, the two winners come back later this evening to battle for a spot at the State Duals.
