Knoxville School Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack tells KNIA KRLS News that recently, the administration of the Knoxville High School and Knoxville School District were advised of an alleged act of misconduct occurring between a student and a school employee. At this time, the district is cooperating with the Knoxville Police Department in the investigation of the alleged incident. Dr. Flack says “our primary concern is the safety of our students. During the course of the investigation the employee accused of misconduct is on paid administrative leave.” Police say it could take days or weeks to complete the investigation.
