Knoxville Wrestler Gets Spot at State Tournament After Injury

Four local athletes will represent Marion County starting today at the Iowa State Wrestling Tournament held at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Levi Azinger at 132 pounds and Chase Petty at 126 pounds will represent Pella. At 138 pounds, Kieran Robuck will represent Knoxville, as well Brock Caviness in the 220-pound weight class after being added to the field due to Mediapolis wrestler Ethan Lamm was injured at the state duals last night. PCM will also be represented as Mustang Tristan Clark wrestles at 126 pounds. KNIA/KRLS Sports will be live this week at the Wells Fargo Arena bringing you reports for all of our local wrestlers vying for a state title.
