With both the boys’ and girls’ squads sailing at the moment, the PCM basketball teams will try to carry that momentum into a sweep of a pair of good North Polk teams tonight. The Comets’ girls won a heated game between the two schools in early January and are ranked ninth in the state in Class 3A. Mustangs’ coach, Bret Grier, says he hopes history repeats itself from their two games last year. PCM’s boys have won three straight after dropping four-in-a-row, and beat the Comets 68 – 29 in their first go-around. You can hear tonight’s doubleheader, should it not get postponed, live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Rick Gilson on the play-by-play. Our pregame will start at 6:00 p.m.
