The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum received a $25,000 donation Wednesday from 3M Company in Knoxville. Bob Baker, Executive Director of the facility, says the gift will go towards their “Expand the Dream” campaign, to build a new staging and storage building where the old car wash currently sits. Todd Weber, with 3M, says this donation is a reflection of their support for the Knoxville community, and says 3M understands the importance of preservation and making sure we have a first-class museum in the area to support the hobby and passion of many people in the community.
