Playing their best game of the season…the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad dominated Newton last night 49-to-38. The Panthers would eventually lead by as much as 20 before settling for the 11-point win. Assistant Coach Jason Carter told KNIA/KRLS Sports two key points for his team was rebounding and defense…Ricki Hall put together another great game with 19 points. Knoxville is now eight-and-nine on the season and four-and-six in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The boys fell 81-to-68 as Newton used a 16-to-two run in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Knoxville was led by Gerrit Davis with 17 points. Knoxville is now five-and-11 on the season and three-and-seven in the conference…Knoxville boys host P-C-M tonight.
