On the same part of the bracket as Pella Christian, both Pleasantville and Woodward-Granger will go head-to-head in the first round of the Class 2A regional girls’ basketball tournament tonight. The Trojans stumbled a tad at the end of the season, losing their last four, while the Hawks are 10 – 11 overall and won four of their last five to close out the regular season. The Hawks play in a tough conference which includes Ogden and Panorama, and they average over 30 rebounds per game along with 10 steals. You can hear tonight’s game live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Ed Bull on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 6:45 p.m. with tip-off in Woodward-Granger at 7:00.
