Twin Cedars’ boys’ basketball team had three players in double figures and played very hard, said head coach Alan Stewart, but they dropped to Ankeny Christian on Saturday, 76 – 59. The Sabers were down just nine at the half, but the Eagles scored 26 third quarter points to run away with it. Otis Roby and Dylan Springer each scored 17 points, and Coy Moore had 11 for Twin Cedars, who drop to 12 – 6 on the season. The Sabers play Grandview Park Baptist on the road next on Tuesday.
