Twin Cedars and Southeast Warren split their basketball doubleheader on Saturday in Bussey for their Coaches vs. Cancer night. The girls lost, while the Saber boys prevailed 63 – 30. It was a special night for Otis Roby; he needed 17 points to reach 1,000 for his career and he put down 18 to eclipse the milestone. Dylan Springer had 14 points as well for the Sabers, who improve to 13 – 6 overall. They’ll play Grandview Park Baptist tonight. A win by the boys would give them third place outright in the Bluegrass Conference.
