With their nine-game winning streak snapped at the hands of I-35 on Monday night, the Pleasantville boys’ basketball team will try and start another run of victories tonight against Central Decatur. The Cardinals are a much improved team since they played the Trojans back in early December; they’ve been able to do something Pleasantville hasn’t, and that’s beat I-35, and they’ve done that twice. Coach Tom Wilkins says that his team will need to put the memory of that win over the Cardinals out of their mind. Meanwhile, the girls were handed a 67 – 20 loss by the Roadrunners on Monday, and are trying to bounce back on the road against a very good Cardinals’ girls team who has only lost three games on the season. Tonight’s doubleheader will tip-off at 6:15 p.m.
