Yesterday’s NFL free agent frenzy had a local angle. Former P-C-M athlete Brandon Myers singed a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Myers signed a two year deal that brought him to the Buccaneers from the New York Giants. Last season, Myers caught 47 passes for 522 yards and four Touchdowns. Myers started his NFL career in Oakland where he was a sixth round draft pick by the Raiders in 2009. In his five NFL seasons he has caught 158 balls for 1,578 yards and eight touchdowns. Myers was an unrestricted free agent which meant he could sign with any franchise in the NFL
