Two Pleasantville girls’ basketball players earned Pride of Iowa Conference honors for their efforts in the 2013-14 season. Junior Kennedy Core was selected to the first-team all-conference and was one vote away from being a unanimous choice. Core scored almost 19 points per game while grabbing nearly five rebounds per contest. Sophomore Bailey Oliva made it to the second team; she scored ten points and corralled over seven boards per game on average this season. Both girls will be returning to a Trojans’ squad that brings back all but two players in 2014-15.
