With numbers up this year, Pella Christian boys’ golf coach, Jim Dingeman is enjoying the freedom of kids battling for a spot on the varsity team. In fact, all of the Eagles are back from a year ago as there were no seniors on the team. Dingeman says this year’s team is kind of a “family affair” as a small chunk of the athletes are brothers. Three Eagles’ golfers have a sibling that is currently on or has been on the team in the past. Pella Christian’s golf season begins in just over two weeks with a dual meet against Pella High in Oskaloosa on April 7.
