With a 15 – 8 regular season record, the PCM girls’ basketball team had five athletes make it to the Heart of Iowa All-Conference team. Making the first team was junior Courtney VanHouweling; she led the Mustangs in scoring with over 14 points per game and grabbed the most rebounds on the team, averaging nearly six per contest. Abbi Gilson and Rachel Freland were both elected to the second team. They combined to score over 25 points per game and came up with five steals on average a game. Both Lexi Kain and Rachel Gulling received an honorable mention. PCM loses two seniors off of this year’s squad.
