Funeral services for Freda Spoelstra, age 86 of New Sharon, will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Oskaloosa with Pastor Doug Vander Pol officiating. There will be a 10:15 a.m. family prayer service in the church fellowship hall. Visitation will begin Friday, March 21 after 11:00 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be present from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
