HCI Hospice Care Services of Central Iowa utilizes approximately 60 volunteers, who are available for patients and their families to do many different things, from sitting with patients to baking cookies to running errands. Volunteer orientation classes start Tuesday, and will be held each Tuesday evening in March from 5 to 8, and volunteers are required to attend all four classes. Volunteer Coordinator Rosy Harrington asks that anyone who is interested in being a volunteer call her at 842-4312.
