Disappointed the season ended earlier than they would have liked, the PCM boys’ basketball team still had several things to be proud of with their 2013-14 season. They got off to a 10 – 0 start and looked to be on their way to a strong finish. However, the Mustangs stumbled a bit immediately after, with losses to Greene County, Pella, South Hamilton and Roland-Story. PCM would recover and finish winning their last seven before being dropped in round two of the playoffs by Pella Christian. Upset the season didn’t go any further, Coach Fred Lorensen says it was still a successful campaign. PCM loses seven seniors off of their squad at the end of the school year.
