Eight of the nine opponents for Knoxville football for the next two seasons are very familiar to the Panthers. Knoxville will open the 2014 season at Newton on August 29th, and follow that up with new conference foe out of the South Central Conference, Centerville, in its home opener on September fifth. Fairfield, a team the Panthers scrimmaged against last season but have never played officially will complete the non-district portion of the schedule in week three. The rest of the opponents will be Carlisle, Pella, Saydel which is homecoming, Chariton, Oskaloosa and Norwalk.
