Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced a series of town hall meetings across Iowa that will discuss the importance of giving students an education in science, technology, engineering and math. Reynolds is co-chair of the Governor’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Advisory Council with Vermeer CEO Mary Andringa. This springs tour will feature stops in each region of the state, with the south central Iowa meeting held in Pella May 5th at 1:30 pm inside the Graham Conference Center on the Central campus. Andringa says “the STEM town halls are a way to engage communities in conversation about the value of STEM education and STEM economic development.”
