Pella Christian’s 2013-14 season ended with a 10 – 14 record with a loss to a team that made it to the Class 2A state tournament, Albia. The Eagles did many things well during the season, despite the level of competition within the Little Hawkeye Conference they had to go up against. They had the fourth best shooting percentage in the league, and were second only to Pella in total rebounds and boards per game in the conference. Looking ahead briefly to next winter’s season, Coach Larry Hessing says that though it’s a little early to tell what all will be coming back and how it will piece together, his team will need to improve on several things. Pella Christian loses four seniors off of their varsity squad at the conclusion of the school year.
