Trojans’ Boys Were a ‘Different Breed’ for Wilkins

Having one of the best seasons in recent school history, the Pleasantville boys’ basketball team and its seniors left a lasting mark on the program. They’ll lose Patrick Sheehey, Dylan Lauer and Chad Robbins to graduation, but before they left, the Trojans went 20 – 5 on the year and lost just a game away from the state tournament to Lamoni. One thing Coach Tom Wilkins says he’ll remember most about this year’s team is not just their teamwork but their wacky demeanor off the court. Wilkins adds that he and the coaching staff will talk with the returners about their goals and expectations for 2014-15 later this week.
