The Knoxville Girls Tennis Squad is scheduled to host Pella Christian today at the Joel Tonda Tennis Courts. The Panthers finished runner-up in their invitational on Friday seeing many of the team in the South Central Conference they will compete against next season. Coach Nick DeMoss tells KNIA/KRLS one of his players, Sammy Thompson has shown real improvement and it is now showing. Thompson beat Centerville’s top players in Friday’s invitational and will get another chance this week. The Panthers are busy this week hosting Pella Christian today, hosting Centerville tomorrow and traveling to Grinnell on Thursday.
