Entering their final two series of the season, Central’s baseball team embarks for Dubuque today to begin a four-game set with Loras. The Duhawks dropped a doubleheader with Wartburg on Monday to fall into a tie with the Dutch for third in the league standings at 12 – 8. Central has this series and another big match-up with second-place Wartburg next weekend to close out their regular season, and Coach Adam Stevens knows there is a lot riding in all eight of these games. The Dutch are winners of their last seven and nine of their previous ten games. First pitch of today’s big doubleheader is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
