Warmer, sunnier weather will grace us with its presence this weekend, which allows the Central baseball and softball teams to get out and enjoy Iowa Conference play this weekend. The Dutch baseball squad will head northwest to Storm Lake to take on Buena Vista. The games were originally scheduled to take place today and tomorrow. Due to inclement weather, Central will play the Beavers now on Sunday and Monday, starting tomorrow at two. The Beavers were picked to win the league this season, but have started out with a 2 – 2 record. Coach Adam Stevens says his Dutch should match up well against Buena Vista. Meanwhile, the Central softball squad will begin Iowa Conference play today with a doubleheader at home against Wartburg.
