The Knoxville boys soccer squad defeated Newton last night 4-2. Chase Larson had a goal and Alex Dye kept his scorching start to the season going with a hat trick. Gustavo Escorcia and Larson were credited with assists. Knoxville is now three-and-one on the season and two-and-oh in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The girls lost to Oskaloosa 7-0 Allyson VanderHart had nine saves in goal. Coach Charley Fisher said the girls played better and hopes they keep improving. Knoxville is now 0-2 on the season.
