The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad plays its first game since the season opener last nearly two weeks ago after losing to Carlisle 5-0. The Panthers take on Oskaloosa to open the Little Hawkeye Conference portion of the season. Coach Charley Fisher tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls are more experienced and he will draw on that as the season goes on. One of the early bright spots is goalie Irie Roberts. Fisher says Roberts has experience in goal and that will help her this season.
