The Knoxville Soccer Squads get the season underway tonight with a home varsity double header with Carlisle. The boys are coming off a season when they went 7-8, however three of those losses were by one goal. Coach Dylan Mick tells KNIA/KRLS that finishing has been a point of emphasis this preseason. He says the guys are more than ready to kick it around with an opponent in a different colored uniform. The girls will play first and they are coming off a 1-13 season. Coach Charley Fisher tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they should be more competitive this season with many of the players back from last season. The girls start at five and all home matches this season will be played at Ken Locke Stadium.
