Knoxville’s Grand Theater Restoration project is progressing, says Foundation President Dylan Morse.Morse tells KNIA KRLS News that to date, of their $500,000 goal, $160,000 has been raised. He says the bulk of that money has come in the first quarter of 2014 with several large donations from local businesses and private donations. He says financial support is still needed, and the Grand Theater Foundation Board has set up levels of sponsorship, beginning at $250, which will buy an auditorium seat, up to naming rights for the main auditorium for a $100,000 donation. Morse says multi-year pledges are welcome as well.
