Mustangs’ Soccer Splits Thursday Games

The PCM boys’ soccer team gave up three goals in the first 15 minutes and couldn’t recover in a 3 – 0 loss to Chariton yesterday. Coach Darrin Telfer tells KNIA/KRLS Sports after his team got off to that rocky start, they played their best half of soccer so far this season. The Mustangs’ boys are now 0 – 4 on the year. The PCM girls began their season last night and got one for the win column, beating C-M-B 3 – 1. Finding the back of the net for the Mustangs were Faith Martin, Jennafer Uitermarkt and Jessica Albright. They will next be in a tournament at Southeast Polk on Saturday, and the boys will play this Thursday at Nevada.
